Enterprise Quality Engineer Lead

Job Summary:
The Enterprise Quality Engineer Lead is responsible for overseeing and coordinating a team of quality engineers for a defined domain or platform. This role will work closely with project managers, cross functional teams, including Product Owners, developers and quality engineers, to ensure the successful delivery and efficiency of solutions within the defined scope, timeline and quality standards.
Essential Functions:
- Create and execute project test estimates and capacity plans, optimizing resource utilization throughout project delivery
- Facilitate project meetings, oversee forecast and schedule development, conduct reviews, and develop and review test plans, including UAT (User Acceptance Training) approval and defect triage facilitation
- Compile and publish QA (Quality Assurance) status reports, including Automation Coverage, Defect Summary, and other relevant metrics
- Prioritize team activities across multiple scrum teams based upon IT leadership priorities and available bandwidth
- Represent IT in project/business meetings and engagements, ensuring clear communication of project status and needs
- Improve solution functionality and efficiency with added business value
- Collaborate closely with other business areas to optimize the use of systems and applications
- Work with the department manager to systematically evaluate currently deployed services, and develop and manage plans to optimize delivery and support mechanisms
- Apply creative thinking in problem solving and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Provide subject matter expertise for technical guidance, training and direction to team members
- Document defect issues, communicate and collaborate with the agile team for defect resolution, and retest to validate that the fix has been implemented
- Develop and support the automation strategy and efforts and create scripts to execute automated tests
- Provide direction, and review of work products and daily tasks for quality assurance
- Participate in and lead troubleshooting and triaging issues with various teams to facilitate root cause identification and implement resolution
- Drive the full development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation, testing, and deployment
- Identify business risks and propose effective mitigation strategies to ensure project success
- Collaborate with product managers to prioritize and schedule project deliverables based on business objectives and resource availability
- Provide accurate and timely progress updates to project stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and proposed solutions
- Perform any other job duties as requested
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience is required
- Seven (7) years of quality engineering testing and analysis experience is required
- Experience with Agile methodologies is required
- Project planning and project management experience required
- Technology project leadership experience is preferred
- Knowledge of the healthcare and domain SME experience is required
- Experience with Cloud technologies is preferred

Working Conditions:
- General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
Compensation Range:
$92,300.00 - $161,600.00CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
