Job Summary
The Physical Therapy department is seeking one year 1 and one year 2 student to work as laboratory assistants for lab set up, cleaning and organization. The positions are expected to start in the Fall 2025 semester and will continue through Fall 2026
Responsibilities*
Prepare physical therapy laboratories for lab sections including, but not limited to:
- room set up and break down
- disposal of consumable supplies
- set up and storage of appropriate equipment, inventory and prepare needed list of supplies
- prepare laundry for delivery/pick up for vendor
- organize storage closets as needed
- effectively communicate with faculty members regarding necessary lab set up.
Required Qualifications*
- Candidates must be enrolled at UM-Flint in the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program
- Candidates must be in Year 1 or Year 2 of the DPT program at UM-Flint in the 2025 Fall semester
- Candidates must be in good academic standing with the University of Michigan-Flint
Modes of Work
Onsite
The work requires, or the supervisor approves a fully onsite presence. Onsite is defined as a designated U-M owned or leased work location within or outside of the State of Michigan
