Job Summary

The Administrative Assistant Intermediate will provide a variety of professional and administrative support to the School of Nursing. You will provide customer service by assisting guests, students, faculty and staff.

You will report directly to the Director of the School of Nursing Office of Student Services.

Responsibilities*

  • Provide reception duties for the School of Nursing Office of Student Services and provide support for the Director
  • Work with the Clinical Placement Dept in providing necessary information and documentation as per requested.
  • Provide purchasing support to School of Nursing
  • Compile standard reports for the Academic Directors.
  • Perform general administrative duties as assigned including but not limited to: updating documents and spreadsheets, copying, filing, answering phones, etc.
  • Set up face-to-face and virtual meetings
  • Assist Faculty and Advisors with data collection and communication regarding admission processing
  • Facilitate and support events for School of Nursing, Office of Student Services: orientations, recognition ceremonies, recruitment events, and outreach activities as needed
  • Provide administrative support for the School of Nursing Office of Student Services that include scheduling, meetings minutes, agendas and correspondence
  • Responsibilities of this position require in-person attendance 4 days a week with 1 remote day.
  • Collaborate with and support other offices within the School of Nursing
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications*

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 or more years of administrative support experience
  • Experience using office equipment, technology and software
  • Experience with customer service

Modes of Work

Hybrid:

The work requirements allow both onsite and offsite work and an employee has an expected recurring onsite presence. On occasion, the employee may be required and must be available to work onsite more frequently if necessitated by unit leadership or their designee and/or the job requirements.
