Reports To: Project Executive

Summary:

Plans, directs, manages and provides oversight of multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring the organization goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed schedule and budget parameters. Oversees all phases of the building process, making sure the project is completed on time and within scope and budget. Manage projects from the beginning to the end.

Essential Functions:

· Facilitate solutions to complex constructability issues.

· Own and manage multiple project teams and can lead an entire project team to achieve desired outcome.

· Provide opportunities for growth for direct reports and ensure growth needs are met.

· Display expert knowledge of the Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling.

· Display expert knowledge regarding contracts and agreements.

· Ensure projects are delivered with a level of quality that meets/exceeds requirements.

· Ensure standards of safety are adhered to by championing throughout multiple projects.

· Develop strategies to mitigate cost overruns and maximize project profitability.

· Manage monthly change order process on all projects such that risk is minimized and profitability is maximized.

· Proactively monitor project material and equipment submittal/approval/fabrication/delivery status for all projects to mitigate the impact on quality, schedule, and cost.

· Build and maintain relationships with individuals at all levels, internally and externally.

· Actively seek strategic relationships to effectively augment business development efforts.

· Effectively negotiate contracts while analyzing and mitigating risks.

· Understand and can communicate square-foot costing of construction types and construction inputs, and can utilize that knowledge to augment business development efforts.

· Serve as a role model to internal team members.

· Manage relationships on multiple projects and leverages them to create new project opportunities for the company

· Create new business development opportunities for the company by effectively managing strategic relationships to generate new project leads and opportunities.

· Serve in a leadership position in an industry-related organization to help build brand recognition and professional development.

· Ensure compliance on all projects with respect to federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.

· Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and skills:

· Possesses expert knowledge of the building trades

· OSHA 10 certification, preferred

· PMP, preferred

· Knowledge of construction quality, health, and safety standards

· USACE CQM certification, preferred

· LEED/Green Building accreditation, preferred

Technical Required

· Strong computer skills and high level of proficiency in MS Office products with ability to learn company-specific programs

· Willing and able to work from our office and job sites

· Schedule may include long shifts, including nights, weekends, or holidays, as needed

Education and Experience:

· Bachelor's Degree in related field (construction a plus)

· 5-10 years experience as a Project Manager

· Minimum 8 years construction industry experience

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
