High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous experience as a Title Clerk or in a similar administrative role within an automotive dealership is strongly preferred.

Proficiency in dealership management software (e.g., Reynolds & Reynolds, DealerTrack) is a plus.

Strong understanding of title and registration processes in Michigan.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Process all vehicle titles accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with state regulations.

Prepare and submit all necessary paperwork for vehicle registration and titling.

Communicate with lenders, dealerships, and state agencies to resolve title issues.

Maintain accurate and organized records of all title and registration transactions.

Assist with accounting tasks related to vehicle sales, such as posting deals and reconciling schedules.

Verify all information for accuracy before submitting to the DMV or relevant authorities.

Stay up-to-date with changes in title and registration laws and procedures.
