Requirements
Certification: A valid certification in automotive technology is required.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in using automotive diagnostics and repair tools.
Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose issues accurately and provide effective solutions.
Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift heavy parts and equipment, and perform physically demanding tasks.
Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and thoroughness in work.
Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed.
Driver's License: A valid driver's license is mandatory.
Responsibilities
Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and necessary repairs on a variety of vehicle makes and models to ensure they meet safety and functionality standards.
Diagnostic Testing: Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle issues accurately and efficiently, aiming for first-time fixes.
Part Replacement: Replace faulty components, such as brakes, steering mechanisms, engines, and transmissions, using OEM parts to maintain high-quality standards.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with service advisors to ensure customers are informed about necessary repairs and maintenance schedules.
Customer Interaction: Provide clear explanations to customers regarding vehicle issues, repair options, and preventive measures to enhance vehicle lifespan.
Documentation: Accurately record all work performed and parts used into the company’s management software to maintain accurate service records.
