Who We Want
Miller Industries is seeking a General Laborer for our Processing Department at our south location in Fenton, MI. The position is on our 1st Shift – Monday – Friday, 6 am to 4:30 pm with overtime asneeded for production. This position offers on-the-job training and the opportunity to advance into a full-time machine operator role using state-of-the-art equipment.
What You Will Be Doing
  • Loading and unloading automated laser cutting machine.
  • Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisor.
  • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures.
  • Performs inspection of finished products and documents results.
  • Assists in other work areas to perform manufacturing.
  • Quality check fabricated parts to meet specifications.
  • Loading and unloading of trucks with a Hi-Lo.
What You Get Paid

What Requirements Are Needed
  • High School diploma or GED with 2+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task various projects with high level of detail.
  • Experience using hand tools and measuring devices.
  • Ability to read basic blueprints and verify mathematical measurements.
  • Must be able to demonstrate ability to follow directions, produce quality work, and maintain safe and positive work environment.
