Position Summary
Responsible for strategic sourcing and procurement across indirect categories including MRO, logistics, transportation, warehousing, and capital equipment. This role drives supplier strategy, cost savings, and operational efficiency across assigned categories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute category strategies for:
    • MRO supplies and services
    • Freight, transportation, and logistics
    • Warehousing and storage
    • Capital equipment and facility investments
  • Lead RFQ/RFP processes and supplier negotiations
  • Manage supplier selection, onboarding, and performance tracking
  • Drive cost savings initiatives and continuous improvement projects
  • Track and manage spend vs. budget
  • Ensure all commercial agreements and contracts are negotiated and closed
  • Support capital projects with procurement of equipment and services
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to supply continuity and cost volatility
  • Build strategic supplier partnerships
  • Collaborate with Finance, Engineering, Operations, and Facilities
Key Performance Indicators
  • Cost savings (% vs. target)
  • Contract compliance rate
  • Supplier performance (OTD, cost, service levels)
  • Logistics cost per unit / freight spend reduction
  • Capital project adherence (timeline and budget)
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of strategic sourcing or category management experience
  • Experience with logistics procurement, MRO, and capital purchasing
  • Strong negotiation and contract management experience
