The Sr. EHS Specialist is responsible for leading and implementing health, safety, and environmental programs across multiple facilities to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, promotes a strong safety culture, and drives continuous improvement in reducing workplace hazards and environmental impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure adherence to OSHA, EPA and other applicable regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and corrective actions
  • Develop and update safety policies, procedures, and training materials
  • Conduct regular safety audits and comprehensive risk assessments across all sites
  • Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis
  • Lead Job Hazard Analyses
  • Monitor waste disposal, emissions, and hazardous material handling
  • Maintain emergency response plans and coordinate drills
  • Analyze safety data to identify trends and implement improvements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, environmental science, or related field
  • 5+ years in EHS roles within manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations
  • Excellent communication and training skills
  • Ability to travel between sites and work across shifts
Preferred Certifications
  • OSHA 30
  • First Aid/CPR
  • CSP or CHMM preferred
