Who We Want
We are currently seeking a Cost Estimator Intern for the summer of 2026 to work on-site in Fenton, Michigan.
What You Will Be Doing
  • Update estimating documents by adding Excel formulas and Visual Basic components.
  • Contact vendors to facilitate pricing updates.
  • Analyze historical data to help improve estimating accuracy.
  • Assist in implementing new estimating software with guidance from the Project Management Team.
  • Maintain and update cost databases and estimating tools.
  • Organize and document estimates and reports.
  • Prepare technical documentation, submittals, and reports.
  • Participate in team meetings and project discussions.

What Requirements Are Needed
Education - Preferred: Working Towards a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering at Junior or Seniors status.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Visual Basic.
  • Ability to work optimally with minimum supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Exemplary planning and organizational skills (multi-tasking and time-management).
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and projects.
  • Self-disciplined and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork and facilitation skills.
