Who We Want
Miller Industries is seeking a Marketing and Communications Intern for the Summer of 2026 in Fenton, MI.
What You Will Be Doing
  • Internal marketing communications; emails, newsletters, and creating internal-facing content.
  • Additional internal marketing requests that come up from May-August.
  • Assist with creating meeting agendas for quarterly meetings and completing action items.
  • Assist with planning summer line-up of customer-facing events.
  • Assist with any merch orders or distribution needed in an organized and efficient manner.
  • Take photo and video of products when needed or coordinate photo and video shoot as needed.
  • Assist with social media planning and branding.
  • Create reports, analyze data and interpret for management.

What Requirements Are Needed
  • Candidate must be working towards a bachelor’s degree in related field. Preference will be given to Junior or Senior status students.
  • Must have cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Experience with Canva/Adobe Suite, Microsoft office Suite (Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, Excel).
  • Strong attention to detail, take direction quickly, and be able to work in fast paced environments.
  • Understanding marketing principles, branding, and communication strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, ability to craft compelling content tailored to different audiences and channels.
  • Has leadership experience on or off campus.
  • Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experienced working quickly and efficiently while meeting deadlines.
Working Environment/Physical Demands
The job is primarily performed indoors within an office setting with occasional time out on a manufacturing floor. Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, reason logically, and make sound decisions.
Core business hours are required for this position and will be established by your supervisor.
Ability to communicate orally with management, co-workers and customers both individually and in front of a group is crucial. Ability to comprehend, remember and follow verbal and written directions. Must have the ability to perform under stress, pressure, and/or in emergency situations.
Hearing and vision within normal ranges is essential for normal conversations, to receive ordinary information and to prepare or inspect documents. No heavy lifting is expected but lifting of up to 30 lbs. of force will be occasionally required. Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computers, telephones, calculator, copiers, and FAX machines.
