Position Summary
The Benefits and Compensation Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract, retain, and motivate employees across multiple sites. This role ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations while aligning programs with the company’s strategic objectives and culture.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain compensation structures, salary bands, and incentive programs aligned with industry benchmarks.
  • Design and administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, retirement, and wellness initiatives.
  • Conduct regular market analysis and salary surveys to ensure competitive pay practices.
  • Oversee payroll accuracy and resolve compensation-related issues in collaboration with HR and Finance teams.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding compensation and benefits.
  • Manage vendor relationships for benefits providers and negotiate contracts to optimize cost and service quality.
  • Provide guidance and training to HR staff and managers on compensation and benefits policies.
  • Implement technology solutions to streamline benefits and compensation administration.
  • Prepare reports and analytics for leadership on compensation trends, benefits utilization, and cost projections.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in compensation and benefits management, preferably in multi-site or manufacturing/construction environments.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance requirements, and benefits regulations.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.

Preferred Certifications

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR/SPHR)
