Who We Want
Miller Industries is seeking a Document Control Administrator to work in Fenton, MI.
What You Will Be Doing
  • Work on process improvements of ERP system as it related to document control and workflows.
  • Coordinate, monitor and update the requirements to the Miller Industries standards folders as they relate to processes and procedures.
  • Identify where processes can be streamlined to eliminate wasted effort.
  • Work with the internal documentation control team to update or make changes to manuals and standard operating procedures.
  • Responsible for conducting one-on-one and small group training sessions
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, BOMs, and QA/QC documentation
  • Train users on system functionality and document workflows, including MasterControl best practices.
  • Generate and analyze reports on document status, overdue tasks, and workflow aging.
  • Support internal and external audits by retrieving documents and demonstrating system compliance.

What Requirements Are Needed
Education: High School Diploma or GED (required) - Associates degree (preferred)
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative capacity (within Manufacturing preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintaining documentation.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to cross reference information accurately.
  • Able to gather information and update written material and manipulate word processing, spreadsheets and database programs.
  • Ability to work independently, seeking information as needed to complete assigned tasks.
  • Resilient self-starter, who learns and acts quickly within a rapidly evolving environment.
  • Understands documentation structure, revision control, and change control
  • Able to adapt quickly.
  • Ability to think in a detailed and structured way.
  • Ability to be systematic and learn the industry being supported.
