Position Summary:
Is responsible to oversee the daily operations, programs and services of the nursing and home health aide departments. To assure quality patient services and facilitate processes in accordance with agency policies and procedures. Plans, directs, and participates in the delivery of professional services, assists in controlling costs through effective use of personnel, establishes and implements priorities for services.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
1. Supervises and evaluates assigned staff and provides on-the-job training, assuring clinical competencies.
2. Explains and presents information regarding performance issues to staff.
3. Communicates effectively with staff, clients, families and other disciplines.

Required:
⦁ Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan
⦁ Minimum of two years Home Health care or Hospice experience
⦁ Valid driver’s license and proof of valid auto insurance
Preferred:
⦁ Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree (BSN)
⦁ One year of management experience
⦁ Experience with homecare regulatory and accrediting bodies
⦁ Supervisory experience.
