Job Summary: Insight is seeking an experienced and caring Registered Dietitian to ensure quality dietary standards to help meet our mission to deliver patient care second to none! The Dietitian will work closely with our medical staff concerning the assessment of patients and their dietary needs from a clinical standpoint. This candidate will work well within a team and exhibit high levels of communication, while being able to demonstrate experience evaluating Dietary processes in a leadership role. Job Duties: - Provides clinical dietitian services and food service management consultation to the dietary department
- Ability to assess specific clinical patient conditions, for patients' dietary needs
- Monitors the activities of dietary services to ensure quality standards
- Evaluates the provision of professional dietary care for inpatients across the age continuum, as needed, to facilitate the highest level of dietary services
- Utilizes assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation to direct or provide dietary services
- Provides supervision, leadership and guidance to patient care staff members for healthy and appropriate dietary processes
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications: - Demonstrates eligibility to work for any employer in the U.S.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Must be a Licensed or Registered Dietitian with Experience in Hospital/Long Term Care delivery of food services
- Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective patient care and to meet documentation standards
- Previous dietary leadership or management experience is preferred
- Willingness to participate in goal-setting and educational activities for professional advancement
- Able to work compassionately with patients and coworkers to exhibit patient care second to none
- Exudes enthusiasm and flexibility to impact the workplace in a positive manner

Physical Requirements: - May be expected to lift up to 25 pounds or up to 50 pounds with assistance. May be expected to push or pull 100-200 pounds with assistance
- Work is of medium demand; walking or standing most of the time while on duty. Reaches, stoops, bends, lifts, carries, and manipulates various foodstuffs, dietary supplies and equipment
- Visual and auditory acuity and manual dexterity essential to performing designated duties required including examining cooked and stored foods
- Optimal auditory acuity required
- Manual dexterity involving the handling of equipment and instruments or needles is essential to performing assigned duties
- Taste and smell discrimination in determining nutritional quality and palatability of foods is required
- Physical conditions are clean, neat and well lit
- May be subjected to unpleasant sights and odors, stressful situations and hazardous or infectious agents where judgement as to precautions needed to be taken is essential
- Climate control and ambient temperature variances may be experienced and required by patient care
- Exposure to infectious disease processes is a possibility
- Hours of duty may be irregular or unexpectedly extended due to the requirements of the daily dietary schedule
