Summary:
The FRG Commercial Loan Closing Specialist is directly responsible for integrity of loan closing, due diligence, documentation, compliance, booking to system of record, and closing files for assigned customers and loans. Requests and reviews closing documents to ensure the structure and terms of loan conform to credit approval and bank policies, and are appropriately completed prior to closing. Orders and reviews due diligence such as title commitments, flood determinations, insurance and other pre-closing items, and coordinates review with respective banker, outside counsel and title company. Responsible for clearing any outstanding post-closing items and collateral exceptions, and ensures accuracy of loan and customer information on system of record; works with Commercial Loan Servicing to resolve errors. Manages closing checklist, certifications, and closing files according to the Business Segment's standards. Develops and maintains relationships with bank attorneys and outside counsel, and title companies. Establishes a level of personal involvement with customers; addresses customer service issues; implements Simply the Best practices and recommends continuous improvements.

Basic Qualifications:
- 3 yrs related experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 yrs experience in a role supporting the administration of commercial loans.
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and work independently.
Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay)
