Summary:
The Commercial Senior Evaluator 2 will be responsible for completing evaluations for commercial real estate transactions.
Their strong analytical skills performing advanced research, skilled analysis and technical commercial real estate valuation methods allow them the ability to complete complex evaluations with higher transaction and real estate values.
They are proficient with policies, procedures and requirements under the Interagency Appraisal and Evaluation Guidelines.
They are knowledgeable with Huntington lending practices, can work independently and have excellent oral and written communication skills. They are able to problem solve issues, handle complaints and answer Essential Partner questions.
Their advanced knowledge, education and experience gives them the ability to assist and guide staff evaluators with complex properties and valuation methodology techniques. Their experience allow them to give advice related to issues relating to zoning laws, real property rights, real property interests, encumbrances, encroachments and property restrictions. They are also able to assist with training new evaluators.
They are expected to lead special projects, assist with implementing new policies and procedures and look for continuing improvement initiatives.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Research, analyze and write reports for non-complex and complex commercial real estate evaluations.
- Answering questions and providing guidance to production staff.
- Assisting other evaluators with complex evaluations and new evaluator training.
- Work on special projects and continued improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- 5-years as an Evaluator/Senior Evaluator -minimum of one year in the Senior Evaluator role.
- Performance level rating as Sr. Evaluator achieved “Exceeds.”·
- Must complete following professional course training:
- 15 hours National USPAP
- 30 hours Basic Appraisal Procedures
- 30 hours Basic Appraisal Principles
Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay)
