Location: Grand Blanc

Schedule: Full Time Days

Supervises the daily activities of the pharmacy technicians.

Our hospital is a destination for specialty care including heart, cancer, and stroke care. Our OB-GYNs/maternity care teams deliver a personalized birthing experience and advanced neonatal care for sick babies. We offer a range of minimally invasive procedures using robotic-assisted technology, imaging, and a inpatient rehabilitation center, all on one campus.

PRINCPLE DUTIES & RESPONSBILITIES:

  • Schedules and assigns daily work assignments for pharmacy technicians and may perform the duties of a pharmacy technician.
  • Oversees process improvement activities.
  • Acts as liaison between department, other hospital departments, physicians and external customers in matters relating to pharmacy operations.
  • Collaborates with other disciplines to ensure that procedures and policies comply with organizational, federal, state and Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations.
  • Conducts hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation of staff.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • High School diploma equivalence with 2 years of cumulative experience.
  • Assiciate's degree/ Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Pharmacy Technician License through the State of Michigan Required.
  • Previous leadership experience preferred.
