RN Assistant Clinical Manager

The Medical Intensive Care Unit is an 18-bed unit where we with work with patients dealing with conditions such as withdrawal, DKA, sepsis, respiratory failure, and end of life, chronic conditions, to name a few. Our team works extremely well together and encompasses the physicians, pharmacist, respiratory therapist, nurse aids, nurse externs, the unit clerks, and the Registered Nurses.

GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager, the Assistant Clinical Manager assumes both a clinical and management role.

• Responsible to plan, organize, and direct the provision of patient care services within the department.

• Assists in the development, implementation, and monitoring of budgets, quality improvement programs, staffing levels, goals, objectives, regulatory compliance, and policies within the department.

• Assists in the evaluation and discipline of personnel.
