  The Cardiovascular Care Unit (3 South Telemetry) is a 48 bed Cardiac Telemetry Unit where we work with patients dealing with unstable angina, NSTEMI, CHF, A-FIB, pre/post cardiac catheter, and renal failure (hemodialysis). We put a special focus on patient safety, advocacy, time management and teamwork. We enjoy working with nurses with a desire to grow in their career. This is an excellent area to develop and refine assessment skills and critical thinking.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager, the Assistant Clinical Manager assumes both a clinical and management role.
Responsible to plan, organize, and direct the provision of patient care services within the department.
Assists in the development, implementation, and monitoring of budgets, quality improvement programs, staffing levels, goals, objectives, regulatory compliance, and policies within the department.
Assists in the evaluation and discipline of personnel.
