Henry Ford Park MRI Center - Grand Blanc offers imaging and radiology services close to home. We are dedicated to making your experience as comfortable as possible. Role Overview
As a Magnetic Resonance Tech, you will play a vital role in performing magnetic resonance imaging studies, ensuring high-quality patient care and accurate diagnostic results. You will support radiologists, physicians, and patients by preparing and positioning patients, setting imaging parameters, and processing images. Your work is essential in helping diagnose and treat medical conditions, contributing directly to patient health and recovery.

What You Will Do
- Perform magnetic resonance imaging studies using MRI devices.
- Prepare patients and position them for imaging procedures.
- Set imaging parameters and perform computer processing to display images.
- Assist in developing protocols for patient studies.
- Conduct quality control procedures on MRI equipment.
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Healthcare Provider certification (BCLS).
- Must maintain required hours of continuing education.
- MRI board certification (ARRT) (MR) within 12 months of hire if a registered Radiographer (ARRT)(R), Sonographer (ARDMS), or Nuclear Medicine Tech (ARRT) (NM) or (NMTCB).
Preferred Qualifications
- Current certification with ARMRIT or ARRT (MRI).
- Two (2) years of experience in Radiography.
