Greater Flint Health Coalition is a nonprofit, collective impact organization that serves as the neutral backbone entity for cross-sector collaboration between Flint and Genesee County’s leadership in public health, healthcare (physicians and hospitals), health insurers, safety-net providers, business, education, community-based organizations, government, policymakers, foundations, labor, media, and committed citizens. The GFHC facilitates diverse partnerships to achieve true collective impact to improve the health status of Genesee County and Flint residents by establishing a common health agenda, shared measurement systems, mutually reinforcing health activities, and continuous communication amongst all who are concerned about the well-being of our community and its residents. The GFHC's two-part mission is to improve the health status of Genesee County residents and to improve the quality and cost effectiveness of the healthcare system in the community. The Greater Flint Health Coalition is located in downtown Flint, Michigan.
