Job Summary
The Teacher Consultant for Students with Autism Spectrum Disorders serves in a consultive/supportive role with staff, students, parents and representatives from local districts and community agencies. Responsible for coordination, development and implementation of instructional programs within assigned areas.
Available
One (1) full-time position; 7.0 hours per day, 186 days per year (Balanced calendar).
Salary
Certificated Salary Schedule. Genesee Intermediate Education Association (GIEA). A competitive salary schedule featuring educational pay lanes and steps. Years of service will be considered.

Qualifications
Education: Master’s degree required. Valid Michigan teacher's certificate required with an endorsement in autism. Eligible for full approval as a teacher consultant required.
Experience: Minimum of three years of successful classroom teaching experience with not less than two years in a program for students with autism.
