The Speech and Language Pathologist K-12 serves in the capacity to meet the developmental needs of children, through a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework. The Speech and Language Pathologist K-12 uses a coaching model with strategies to help students develop new skills to share with parents, caregivers, and educational team members.

One (1) full-time position; 35 hours per week/187 days per year (Balanced calendar)
Salary
Certificated Salary Schedule. Genesee Intermediate Education Association.

Qualifications
Education:
Master's degree required in speech and language pathology or a valid Michigan teacher's certificate with full approval in the speech and language impaired required. A valid Speech-Language Pathologist license from the State of Michigan or Educational Limited License with application of full SLP license upon completion of CFY. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Experience
Previous experience with coaching others on strategies to improve language and communications skills in students preferred.
