The Teacher of Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder supports the vision and mission of the Genesee Intermediate School District by being responsible for the instructional program and implementation of activities for the students in the assigned classroom. Responsible for the coordination of the activities of the assigned para-educator and support staff providing services for students in the assigned area.

Available

One (1) full-time positions; 7.5 hours per day, 186 days per year (Academic Calendar).

Salary

Certificated Salary Schedule. Genesee Intermediate Educational Association (GIEA). A competitive salary schedule featuring educational pay lanes and steps. Years of service will be considered.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree required. Valid Michigan teacher's certificate required with approval in Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Experience

Demonstrated successful student teaching experience required; two years of experience preferred.
