General Statement:

Under the direction of the Program Director or designee, performs duties in directing the work efforts of assigned staff, ABA and behavioral support program functions, and day-to-day operations of the program staff tasks; performs related work as required.

Minimum Requirements:

Year(s) of Experience

Bachelor's degree in a human service field.

Two (2) years experience as an applied behavior analysis aide/technician for children with autism.

Will consider individual actively working toward attainment of Bachelor’s degree in human service field with expected degree completion within one year of hire.

Two (2) years experience as an applied behavior analysis aid/technician for children with autism.

Additional Requirements:

Must be willing and able to work weekends, holidays, or irregular hours.

Must have a valid Michigan Driver’s License, current automobile insurance, and the use of a personal vehicle during work hours. Employee must maintain a valid license to retain employment.

Ability to physically perform the tasks.

Ability to provide supervisory coverage for Autism Services and behavioral support programs.

Preferences:

Individual with leadership experience supervising others.

Essential Physical Demands:

  • Vision – Position requires the ability to visually assess details at both near and far distances, as well as to perceive depth and spatial relationships with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Hearing – Position requires the ability to receive and respond to verbal communication with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Lifting, Standing, and Walking With or Without Reasonable Accommodations:
    • Position requires the ability to lift up to 35lbs on an occasional basis
    • Position requires the ability to regularly stand for extended periods of time
    • Position requires the ability to walk at a minimum of 35% up to a maximum of 65%
  • Position will require the ability to occasionally stoop, bend, or reach to perform work tasks with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Position must be able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity, including the use of hands and fingers for handling, grasping, typing, writing, or operating equipment with or without reasonable accommodation.
