Under the clinical direction of the Director of Behavioral Supports or designee, the Senior BCBA is responsible for performing functional behavior assessments, developing behavioral interventions, training staff and families to implement the interventions, and ongoing monitoring, training, and adjustment to the intervention based on treatment integrity and client response to treatment. The individual functions as a consultant and as part of an interdisciplinary team and services are delivered in a variety of settings including, but not limited to, private homes, adult foster care homes, community, center, etc... The Senior BCBA will have responsibility for direct oversight of behavioral interventions implemented by direct care or technician staff, which may include observation and consultation during second and third shift as needed to appropriately support the consumer.
