The nine board members make up the Airport Authority and serve 3-year terms.

The Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce represents over 1,100 businesses throughout mid-Michigan. The following are just a few of the many programs and services that can help companies reduce costs and increase profitability: -The Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) provides training and assistance to companies that want to sell to the government. -Money-saving programs that help reduce shipping, office, and telecommunications costs for businesses of all sizes. -A partnership with Blue Cross Blue Shield that provides business members with lower-cost insurance coverage for employees. The Chamber also has established several councils and advisory groups to help improve the community and support the region's business owners. These include the Women's Business Committee, the African American Advisory Committee, Genesee Regional Young Professional Committee (GRYP) and the Disability Works Committee.
