Onsite: This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Flint Assembly on a full-time basis.

The Role:

The Material Temporary Work Order (TWO) Coordinator will be required to work in a fast-paced environment. This role will be responsible for coordinating and communicating timing of TWOs and Engineering Work Orders (EWOs) for the plant. This role involves a significant amount of interaction with other departments within the plant, engineering, and suppliers. This position will primarily be on first shift but may require over-time and off-shift work as needed.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities):

  • Investigates, Coordinates, and follows up on launch ECR’s and TCR’s.

  • Supports BPD / Scorecard achievement.

  • Validates and Processes specs and usage.

  • Validates routing, family address and broad cast code for all changes.

  • Analysis of specification related issues.

  • Internal Controls compliance for their functions.

  • Utilizes ECM for engineering change inquiry information.

  • Updates ECR/TCR CIC status in ECM.

  • Works reports designated for ECS changes and breakpoints.

  • Coordinates the implementation timing of ECR’s and TCR’s.

  • Creates and post ECS notification sheets.

  • Maintains ECR and TCR Logs.

  • Coordinates and follow MRD’s (Material Required Dates).

  • Hold TCR Buy Offs with each MRD Interacts with ECS committee to communicate ECS effective date changes and release new ECS report.

  • Communicates with engineering on usage of TCR’s and break points.

  • Attends launch and engineering change meetings, including conference calls.

  • Implements, monitors, and maintains GMS elements.

  • Coordinates and follows all Pilot Builds.

Additional Job Description

Your Skills and Abilities (Required Qualifications):

  • 2 years of Supply Chain Management experience.

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to work off-shift/over-time as needed.

  • Analytical ability where problems are somewhat complex.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.

  • Knowledge of material department operations, manufacturing processes, and departmental relationships.

What Can Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):

  • 2+ years of Supply Chain Management experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a related field.

  • GMS experience.

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment, in the materials department.

  • Familiar with Family Address, Broadcast Codes & Routings to Current Model Year.

  • Knowledge of specs and usage.

  • Knowledge of MGO-A and ECM.

  • Familiar with GEPICs and ECM (emerge).
