Economic Development Intern

Summary/Objective:
The Economic Development Intern will support projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing economic investment and workforce development through data-driven strategies and insights.
Essential Functions - Primary (25 hours/wk.):
· Assist with research and analysis
· Collect and analyze data to support grant proposals and reports
· Utilize existing data analytics platforms to support the needs of the Group’s divisions
· Participate in key events, activities, and professional development opportunities hosted by Flinterns
· Attend Group events and meetings to increase knowledge about the organization and support professional development
· Perform other duties and projects as assigned
Required Education/Experience:
· Currently enrolled in an Associate’s degree program (or higher), with a focus in data science, economics, communications, business, or another related field
· Basic understanding of data collection and data analysis best practices and procedures
· Demonstrated ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios
· Experience working in a team setting while managing multiple projects and deadlines
