Role Description

The Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing, implementing, and monitoring safety protocols to ensure safe working environments at all construction sites. Key responsibilities include conducting safety inspections, identifying hazards, developing safety policies, training staff on safety measures, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Flint, MI, and requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

  • Experience in workplace safety management, safety inspections, and regulatory compliance
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing organizational safety policies and procedures
  • Strong skills in training staff on hazard identification and workplace safety practices
  • Familiarity with construction site operations and occupational health standards
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to assess risks, problem-solve, and manage safety programs efficiently
  • Certifications such as OSHA 510 or other industry safety credentials are preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, or a related field is a plus
  • Previous experience in the construction industry strongly desired
