The hiring range for this role is:
$120,000.00 - $145,000.00This is the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the hiring range and this hiring range may also be modified in the future. A candidate’s position within the hiring range may be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for annual bonus incentive pay.

The Rebates and Finance Transformation Lead is responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of automated solutions supporting Synergie’s rebate invoicing and financial operations. This position is also responsible for supporting the financial analysis data strategies related to rebates and value-based contracts with client pharmaceutical manufacturers. This role will serve as the organization’s Alteryx lead and subject matter expert, responsible for building scalable, efficient workflows; supporting process transformation; and mentoring others in best practices. Reporting to the VP of Invoicing, the role will partner closely with stakeholders across Finance, IT, Analytics, and Trade Relations to drive automation initiatives that improve performance, accuracy, accessibility and transparency to strategically support financial and operational reporting.
Primary Job Functions:
Assist in the development and implementation of finance reporting support tools, and support of the Invoicing team around the proactive investigation of various manufacturer data issues and identify opportunities for process improvement. Identify and lead process transformation opportunities to streamline manual tasks and reporting for Invoicing Executive Management.
Architect, build, and maintain robust Alteryx workflows to automate rebate invoicing and finance processes at scale. Serve as the organization's subject matter expert (SME) on Alteryx design, troubleshooting, optimization, and documentation. Promote adoption of Alteryx and automation best practices through internal showcases, training, and coaching. Mentor analysts and team members on Alteryx use, workflow logic, and automation strategy.
Develop and implement data quality policies, procedures, and metrics, establishing standards for data validation, cleansing, and enrichment.
Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into actionable automation and reporting solutions. Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and resolve issues in a timely manner during development and rollout.
Develop and manage a library of reusable workflow components and templates. Lead documentation efforts for all workflows, logic, and transformation rules to support audit-readiness and transparency.
Communicate project milestones, risks, and performance metrics to internal stakeholders and senior leadership.
Support the VP of Invoicing in defining long-term automation strategy and roadmap for rebate and financial operations.
Education, Experience and Certification
Required: Bachelors Degree in business, healthcare, analytics, finance or related field.
Experience
Required:
7 years experience in healthcare, managed care, PBM, or related environment with financial or rebate responsibilities.
3 years minimum hands-on experience with Alteryx, including building complex workflows, macros, and automated reporting solutions.
Certification
Preferred: Alteryx Designer or Alteryx Advanced Certification
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Proven experience leading or driving automation and workflow optimization initiatives
Strong understanding of rebate invoicing processes and financial data flows
Ability to independently identify problems, propose scalable solutions, and drive execution
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience mentoring or training others in Alteryx use and logic
Strong attention to detail, logic, and workflow documentation
High comfort level with change management and fast-paced environments
Familiarity with healthcare rebate structures, contracts, and manufacturer agreements
SQL, Microsoft Office Excel & Word experience
Experience standing up Alteryx Centers of Excellence, intake models, or governance processes preferred
Familiarity with rebate auditing processes and invoice reconciliation preferred
